Prayer with special emphasis on the principles of the Lord’s Outline for prayer, Matthew 6:9-13.
Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Matthew 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.
Matthew 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Matthew 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
We need an increase of the power of God’s Kingdom. We need the will of God to be done here and now. We need his provision. We need a perpetual cycle of forgiveness. We need his guidance. We need deliverance from the evil that is attacking our homes, churches, cities, our country, and our freedom.
Specific prayer for those in authority as instructed by the Apostle Paul:
1 Timothy 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
1 Timothy 2:2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
1 Timothy 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
